Good Luck

Hello, today I have a card made with another image from LOTVs art pad Set 1 Vintage Boys.  These are brilliant for quick cards.

The paper is from a BoBunny pad called Timepiece Collection which matches the colour of the car perfectly.

Flutter Bye

Hello, today I have a card made with products almost entirely found at J&C Creations warehouse.

The image is a wooden stamp by PB called flutter bye which is on sale at 40% off.  The backing paper is by Best Creation Inc called "Mr & Mrs", the sentiment is a small PB wooden stamp also 40% off.

The bow ribbon is one of J&Cs new products and I just added some pearl gems.

Birthday Boy

Hello, today I have a quick card made for my nephew.  When making these I tend to go with the flow but on seeing it now there are things I could have done better.  However it is too late now as it is winging its way to the recipient!

The car is a topper bought many moons ago but the paper is from LOTVs Candles & Cake pad.  The "birthday" scrabble tiles are by Hunkydory.

Rose's Garden

Hello, today I have a card made with one of my older stamps from Stampavie by Sara Kay called Rose's Garden.  The image has been coloured with Copics.

The paper is from a pad called Princess Fairytale by Dovecraft.  The die is one of the new SB D-lites called Asters and Poppies and this is the Poppy.

Yee Haa!

Hello, today I have a card using mostly LOTV products.  The image is one of their Boys/Men rubber stamps called Yee Haa! and the backing paper is from one of their paper pads with NitWits called Candles and Cake.

I had half a mind to use this card for their weekly challenge "Spots and Stripes" but by the time it was finished, the link was closed so I placed it in reserve.  Ah well!!

Pink Diamante

Hello, today I have another image from a Chocolate Baroque set called Diamante Delights which has been coloured with PMs and glitter pens with a bit of Stickles in the centre.

The butterfly paper is from a Prima Reflections pad and I have used Memory Box dies for the butterfly.

I am back!

Hello everyone - my project is completed and I can now get crafting again, I have missed it and your lovely creations so much.

Thank you all for your lovely comments on my Spitfire - it does go to show that I am my own worst critic!

My first card is made with some of the new Heartfelt Creations release Sun Kissed Fleurs. This was made at the same time as the Spitfire and I wasn't entirely happy with the distressing on this one either and I felt I was having an off day but my Mum loves it.  I think these HC papers are beautiful.

Here I have used the backing paper and one of the Sun Kissed Fleurs Swirls.  It has been embossed with gold powder and coloured with Flexis.

Blog Break

Hello, I have to take a break from my blog for a while because a project which I started back in September last year now needs completion and I am not finding enough time to make cards which is why I am posting infrequently.

I hope you will all continue to visit from time to time as I will be back in due course and I will catch up with all your lovely creations upon my return.

Spitfire

Hello, today I have a Father's Day card which uses a stamp from Stamps Away called Spitfire.  I am not entirely happy with it because a) the image slipped on the mat so the left margin is thicker and b) the distressing doesn't look right in the photo although IRL it looks OK.

I am thinking about removing the image altogether and redoing it - I will see how easy that is!

The stars are MB dies and the paper is by Maja and from Life in the Country.

Artists Bauble

Hello, today I have a card made using one of the baubles from the Chocolate Baroque set called Artists Baubles which was released this month.  There are 6 different styles of baubles plus some small stamps in the set.  This is my favourite one.

The backing paper is Best Creation Inc glitter paper called Mr & Mrs (GP348) and available from J&C Creations.

Kisses in the Sun

Hello, today I have a card made with one of the recent Penny Black releases called Kisses in the Sun.

The embossing folder is Die'sire Argyle and the flowers are a selection from Wild Orchid.

Orange Flower

Hello, today I have another card made with one of the flowers from the Chocolate Baroque stamp set "Big Flowers".

I have used Doodlebug butterfly stripe and Bazzil card (available from J&C Creations).  The brown card is a scrap which I think came from a set from Craftwork Cards originally.

The green swirl is from a Magnolia die.

Clock Face

Hello, today I have a card which is the base for my eldest son's birthday.

I bought the clock die because I love clocks which have Roman numerals and it is one of Robert Addams new releases called Clock and Cogs.  It cuts perfectly.

I have used an Embossalicious folder called Regal Frame with Core'dinations card.

Sunflower

Hello, I am still in a floral mood - must be the weather!!  This is a stamp set from Chocolate Baroque which I have revisited since tidying my stamp drawers again.  The set is called Sunny Sunflowers.

I have cut out two sizes of one design and layered them after colouring with PMs.  I have done the same with one of the styles of leaves in the set.

The background was created using Distress Ink pads with another of the styles of flower which I embossed.

The mat is a Spellbinders die.

Colourful Flowers

Hello, today I have a card using another revisited stamp set from Chocolate Baroque called Big Flowers.  The flowers have been coloured with PMs and cut out.

The backing paper is Doodlebug Butterfly Stripe (1579) and card is Bazzil, both can be obtained from J&C Creations while stocks last.

I have used a Memory Box die for the "stem".

Looking at it now, I am not keen on the green ribbon but it's too late to remove it.

Clarissa

Hello, this is the other Woodware stamp from Craftwork Cards and called Bubble Bloom Clarissa which just fell into my basket at the same time as Felicity!  This time the Candi is, I think, School Days, I cannot find the packet.

The paper is another sheet from Papermania's Spots & Stripes-Pastels and the die-cut bird is a combination of 2 dies, one Marianne and the other Elizabeth Craft Designs.

I went over the black swirl lines and the stem on this image with a Spica black pen but I found black dust over the white which I cannot remove and find very annoying.  I am assuming that the "glitter" in the pen is rubbing off and I am not sure how to prevent it.

Felicity

Hello, today I have a card made with another stamp which Jules has used on her lovely makes and which I liked very much.  Mine came from Craftwork Cards and apparently this and the one I am posting later in the week, were designed to take their Candi by Woodware.  I have used "Heart Strings" for this one and coloured with Promarkers.

The paper is from a Papermania Capsule pad called Spots & Stripes-Pastels and the dies are again by Memory Box.

Pansy Patch

Hello, today I have a card using my favourite subject - flowers!  This is another Stampendous stamp called Pansy Patch and the image has been coloured with Promarkers.

The paper pansy is made using Tonic Punch & Stamp set 701e (Rose, Pansy, Camellia, Gardenia) introduced to me by Brenda over at Floral Fantasies who uses a lot of flowers made with these punch sets.

The Candi is Chocolate Box and the mirror one is Cadbury's purple colour, mmm! - I have trouble using those.

The backing paper is Memory Box viola.

Scented Message

Hello, today I have a card made with the Penny Black stamp Scented Message.  Jules has used it on some of her lovely makes and coloured it with markers but I wondered what it would look like this way and I think it looks like a completely different stamp.

I embossed the image with clear powder and used a Distress Ink pad in wild honey for the background.  The image is coloured with orange, sand and gold mica powders.

The flower is die cut using one of the new Sizzix Thinlits dies from Susan's Garden series of flowers this one being Sunflower using Core'dinations card.

Blue Polka Dots

Hello, today I have another of the embossed polka-dot sprig images but this time I have embossed with gold powder as I like blue and gold together.  I think I prefer this to the red one I posted previously.

I have used Distress Ink pads wild honey first then sea salt over the top to give a greeny-blue colour which works well with the Bo Bunny Weekend Market paper.

The butterfly and "greenery" are again from dies by Memory Box.
